zahidf
No offence, but there is 0.05% chance of Klopp going to Villa.
mrtourette
Yeah that sounds horrendously unikely. The interesting bit is that if Cowans falling out with Lambert is what prompted all this why he'd now be promoted to his assistant. TheGayTent
Lerner will only sell if he gets his money back - and the prospective owner is going to be a custodian type in the way he has. Lerner's spent in excess of £250m. Can't see there's many potential buyers that fit that criteria. Much of what you say sounds plausible - there's falling out within football clubs all the time. But Klopp? You're 15 days late me thinks
luckysalt
I just said Klopp was the number one target, not it was happening. You never know in football, before O'Neill came in i'd have said there was no chance of that happening. Money talks, you just don't know how much money is going to be involved. Before Man City got rich who would have expecting the managers they've pulled in? And regarding Cowans, its clear this is a boardroom choice, it would appear Lambert has had his chance, his backroom staff and the players have gone to the board it seems, Lerner never sacks a manager during a season, but taking away all the backroom staff is a big thing, Lambert has pushed Given out since day one do you think he would want him as part of the coaching set up either? This is all done against Lambert with the good of the club at heart. Cowans is very very well liked at Villa, I feel this has been done to aplease the fanbase somewhat. Its a pressure cooker down there at the moment.

TheGayTent
I'm targeting Mila Kunis as my date to the company ball. I've got no chance of it happening, but hey it's a target.

luckysalt
No need to be so defensive. Of course 'anything can happen', but if that's not exactly a sound basis for a rumour.

thetime
Just seems to be the Villa way, get fans excited and then a big nothing. Wouldn't get your hopes up lucky, unless big investment I can see villa one of the faves to go down next season.

pink_triangle
I can see klopp leaving as he may feel he has taken dortmund as far as possible with the resources available. However its possible jobs at arsenal, man u, real, Barca, psg may become available, I would think he would be on all of their radars. lharris92
considering how many clean sheets we've had all season, we haven't half been shocking tonight in giving the ball away that leads to goals. no clean sheet in 8 either. really needed to hang on until half time and that could have made a slight difference in how the game went. arsenal looked piss poor as well throughout the first half, not really creating that many good chances until we took the lead. did the same against them earlier in the season. could have made the subs that small bit earlier, before the 3rd was scored and effectively ended the game. know we're more or less safe but still, pretty poor in the 2nd half, we don't close down early enough in our own half giving arsenal all the time in the world to pick their passes. oh well, onto the next game. thetime
Arsenal have a lit to play for though, that's maybe the difference. West Ham safe and Arsenal fighting for 4th. Still think Arsenal will get it though.
luckysalt
In an update to my previous posts regarding Villa and a takeover, apparently the interested party is Larry Ellison. Yeah, that guy, the fifth richest person in the world. $48billion fortune. Sooooooo..... Maybe we might get Klopp if thats true huh? Think this is the stuff of wet dreams eh? But still, what a fucking dream.
mrtourette
I still don't think Klopp is stupid enough to fall for the 'crappy club is suddenly rich so you can but whoever you want' trick. I think he's far more likely to go to Spurs.

Wooderson
I reckon Everton is a far better prospect for a takeover.
