Wooderson
The Fergie reign at OT has moved into a different phase. He's still the top dog. Makes for great entertainment for the neutral. LVG and Fergie going toe to toe will be fascinating.
ThomThomDrum
Im very much beginning to doubt it will be LVG as I dont think he is prepared to take shit from anyone, not even Ferg Face and defo not the Class of 92. If Real fail in the CL it may be Carlo As Johnny Giles would have it, for Utds sake Fergie needs to fuck off for a while. This Summer is jam packed! A World Cup and the Utd "issues". Great time for football!

DomDom1984
I'm not sure that's slimey. It's not like he's going to come out and say "oh aye, we knew, we're well chuffed".

DomDom1984
Nobody's saying Giggs isn't a dick here. Just that his comments on Moyes' sacking seemed like a bit of a stock answer. He was probably asked about it and he responded with a generic response. It's a total "nothing to see here" comment.
ThomThomDrum
I got the impression from the press conference today that everyone was happy Moyes had gone...
CHRLY
Good luck ! I'm going on a 600+ mile round trip tomorrow to watch Fleetwood take on Southend. Looking forward to it, despite the early start. Hoping the game is eventful enough to take my mind off the game going on at the Hawthorns... thetime
This Utd thing has taken over the papers, the net and airwaves. Johnny Giles says the next Utd manager should heed Fergies advice for any new manager of any club and "get rid of the c**ts" as thats what he would do and apparently did. And then Giles basically calls the class of 92 and Fergie the current c**ts at Utd!! Apparently Utd players are already not keen on LVG!! Apparently Fergie would block LVG (or any manager) from appointing Roy Keane to a position in the club Apparently Fergie wants the next Utd manager to groom Giggs for the job, so he can take over in 3 years or so Apparently Fergie wants Gary Neville back at the club Apparently Shaw, Fabregas, Cavani & Kroos are this summers targets Apparently Moyes told the Utd players on more than one occasion after a game that he thought they were trying to get him fired with their performances. Apparently Fergie, who said Utd fans should stick by Moyes in good and bad times, agreed to get rid of him back in February, but they waited until now for financial reasons. Is there any football on this weekend????

DomDom1984
Another game as a neutral tonight as Partick Thistle vs. St. Mirren is on. A wee trip to Maryhill on a Friday night seems a bit unsafe, but all in the name of footy!
pink_triangle
I'm off to Buxton tomorrow with my team (Chorley) as we try and win the evo stick northern premier. We currently sit one point ahed of FC United. Basically if we win, we get promoted to the conference north to play teams such as Stockport. This is a massive step for the club as when I started following them they were in dire straits - struggling to get 180 attendance. Last Saturday (last home game of the season) we got an attendance of over 2000. With FC United getting 3000+ that day it really was a great advertisement for non league . Whether we go up or not I am very proud of the club and where Gary Flitcroft has taken us. Up the magpies.

CHRLY
Good luck, we need some more northern teams in the real "premiership" and you will only be one league away. I would love to get back in the football league but there's some great fun to be had visiting some smaller teams/towns. I'm surprised Fc united havent found the non league easier to be honest, with their attendances/income they should be able to get up to the non league premiership with little trouble. Bobs
Thanks a lot! Nerves are building now. As for FC they have been in this league for years now, always making the play offs but never being promoted. I'm really hoping they go up with is this year (providing we go up first). They will have their new stadium open for next season, really want a trip there.
CHRLY
I'm sort of hoping Chester will go down, I'd love is to play them again. Saying that there was a bit of trouble last time we played them at home, we were both top two in the league around febuary, there was nearly 3,500 attendance, it was mad. Unfortunately, lots of these (Chorley & Chester) had just come to cause trouble and a lot of fights broke out and there was quite a lot of violence after the game - not something you want to see in non league or for that matter any type of football. I'm sure if we were to cross paths again there would be no trouble, since the game back then a lot of the idiots that used to go to chorley games have got bored and moved on. Would love to play them again just because there was some sort of rivalry before all the violence and that match was meant to be a great occasion. I do think they are probably safe though. Wooderson
Yes mate for months. Crying in her bedroom and I said I would get one for her birthday to stop her crying. I thought she would forget, has reminded every day since. Going to be lovely seeing her wearing it on her birthday not. Bright side buying it now it won't have champions written on it..
