For Madrid to get the win in Germany in the manner in which they did, whether it was 0-1 or 0-4, is the impressive part really. They got their tactics spot on. I had mentioned previously, a couple of times, that once they went 1 up the tie was effectively over, as Bayern would have to force the issue even more to get the 3 goals required to win it. That of course was going to leave them open to one of the best counter attacks in the world. Hence I reckon it could have even been worse for them.

I agree the result was impressive, but lets face it Real madrid at their best have players capable of doing that to any club in world football regardless of style.

A CL final without Chelsea was always what I was rooting for, so naturally I want Atletico to win tonight. Also, it would mean a Madrid derby in the final.

I would find that a very intriguing final. People are talking all about Jose and Madrid, no one seems to mention Anceloti and Chelsea.

The defending has been atrocious compared to what it was at the weekend. Luiz in particular seems intent on ruining the game single handedly. Probably has a bet on.

It's quite interesting that the longer Liverpool kept it 0-0 Chelsea would of had to come out, you would of been able to pick them of like Madrid have.

What's more interesting is Moyes has won more trophies than Jose this season haha.

I think the away goal rule played a big part in both semi finals. Chelsea made a big mistake playing for a 0-0 at Madrid and as soon as Athletico scored they were in trouble.

Usually hate watching Chelsea games but that was great!!

1-0 up and couldnt hold on? Ha Ha...........

The away goal rule made that game and the fact that when Madrid got the 1st goal they were effectively winning and then Jose had to try win the game.

Chelsea are at their best when they dont have to win
