Ace window for Everton in the end-

-screwed Moyes for Fellaini when they could have got him cheaper if they hadn't of c**ted about a few weeks back, £28 million for him and Baines hahahahahahha, then he ends up paying pretty much that for just one of them! Tits

-Midfield is probably a bit stronger, depth wise at least with Barry and McCarthy

-Lukaku, just what we need up front

-Few quid left over for the banks

Only bad thing about the window that the RS look to have a decent squad too, particuarly gutted about Moses, reckon he will be v good for them

Everton had a cracking day in the end. It could have been all doom and gloom.

And merseyside overall has had a great summer of signings - and non-leaving (Suarez, and Baines).

And I have to laugh at the Ozil deal getting 4 times the interest on social media than Bale got.

Yeah someone pointed it out to me though. If Rooney had've left fair enough but with the three of them? Not sure who Moyes would play/drop?

As I say, what a difference a day makes.

Would've loved that Herrera lad mind you. Lovely player.

it's looking to me like the Glazers have conned you all this summer. It's pretty clear now that Herrera was a signing which was never going to happen. Smoke and mirrors.

As I've said a few times in the last couple of months, it's gonna be an interesting season.

Any Man Utd fan need reminding what happened when Busby left? :P

And that'll be a minor meltdown to what will happen if similar on-pitch happenings happen with fergie leaving.

Good days work at the Ev yesterday. Nice to see 'em turn the screw on the Fellaini deal. *chapeau*

Couple of clubs boxed well this window. Both Merseyside clubs strengthened and hung onto valued players.

As regards Fellaini, think he'll do the biz for Utd. If they can look past their turned up noses/enormous transfer fee theyve got a brilliant performer there.

Has Kagawa played a minute for Moyes yet?

Arsenal have made a statement. Psychologically signing a huge name makes a major impact, both to their squad and their rivals. And I don't think Fellaini is the leader Arsenal need. I don't think the way they play and the creative players they've got requires a full-time DM.

Brilliant performer on his day. Hugely inconsistent player.

I can't remember who it was now, but some 'expert' (player/ex-player, or manager/ex-manager) I saw on TV or read the words of yesterday reckoned that Arsenal would make more signings of Ozil's calibre or bigger in January.

While that might be getting a bit carried away, they're defo now in the position to attract better players than previously, as both their spends on a single player and the wages they're prepared to pay are much closer to the norm now.

Half a game or something in pre season. He needs a proper run.

I think Moyes may have to abandon Fergies two winger "get the ball to them quick" style to incorporate Kagawa and now Fellaini. Interesting times ahead.

Also, new Arsenal song "Carzola to the left of me, Ozil to the right, stuck in middle Giroud"

Brilliant!

That 'Hey Jude' is already one of the better player songs around at the moment. Tho I quite like the one the Utd fans have got going for Moyes - tho I'm not sure how long they'll be singing that for. :P

I like Giroud a lot as a player. He looked off the pace by a fair bit at the start of last season which implied he might be another Bentner, but he always looked like he'd click with the other players, and he is doing so more and more. His movement for his goal at the weekend was great, and shows how much he's starting to click with others.

That's not fergies '2 wingers' that's man utd history having '2 wingers', that's the way it's always been.

I've seen fans predict carrick/felliani as CM and Rooney/kagawa/nani, there's no way man utd would play with just one winger. It's been done on occasions but not the norm.

I personally hope they never do away with the 2 wingers.
