mrtourette
The tourists? Yeah they was winning so didn't care much... Didn't the proper Man Utd supporters setup their own amateur club? They was getting quite a following at one point but seem to have disappeared from the news.

Bobs
They play in the northern premier league, which isn't to shabby after they were formed in 2005 and they play at gigg lane.
thetime
Yes, they were in the playoff final season before last with Colwyn Bay, and when they lost, they proceeded to kick off in big style fashion, which if i'm right, is the same as when they played Brighton in the FA Cup, i'm sure someone can confirm
kaosmark2
Arsenal looking incredible tonight. Phenomenal linkup play, great pressing and 2 great finishes.

thetime
I actually think it is pretty unimpressive, they have been stuck in the same league for 6 years with 2000+ attendances. They should have flown up to the Blue square premier (2 leagues above where they are now) on those sort of attendances, as chester did when they folded. I think it would have been a huge failiure not to be at the level that FC united are at with the advantage they have compared to other comparible non league sides The FC United project started out with momentum but seems to have stalled. I think this has been the same about all anti Glazer protests where fans haven't seemed willing to follow through on grievances, the green and yellow scarf protest is possibly the lamest protest ever. As I have said fans have watched blindly as they have used the club as a cash cow because they have seen players lifting trophies most season. If what happens on the pitch is all that matters to fans its concerning, myself and others on here have seen what happens when unscrupulous people get their claws into a club. strummer77
The premier league era of new man utd fans are just about winning trophies, why would they care? Same with Liverpool fans of the 70s and 80s. It's only when clubs are not doing well, what ever level that is when people start kicking of. do you really think the vast majority of owners are there for the fans or for the profits? eFestivals
Arsenal looking incredible tonight. Phenomenal linkup play, great pressing and 2 great finishes.yup - Giroud's movement for the second goal was fabulous, as good as a striker gets. And Ramsay had another stunner (tho for once without a goal). Jackmypie
Barca aren't the same team they were 2 years ago. Inesta & Xavi kept misplacing passes, Neymar was looking pretty decent though. They are missing Messi baaadly.

RobertProsineckisLighter
You lot have struggled to adapt to league 2 more than I thought, then again in a 46 game season things can change pretty quick Its not been a great season for many of us on here West ham - 0.83 points per game wrexham, pompey - 1 point per game Newcastle, man utd - 1.16 points per game Apart from those supporting arsenal and the 2 scouse teams, I can definitely hear the sounds of "we're shit and we know we are" in the background! eFestivals
I'm surprised how quiet the Liverpool regulars have been. I guess there's both other reasons not to be on these boards, and possibly a thing of not wanting to brag and get carried away, but still, Strummer made a post a couple of pages back so must still be vaguely around.it's probably a reverse version of all those people who are currently going "wow" (for different reasons) about Utd's form - that they don't want to get carried away so early in the season cos we all know that things can change. If I had to bet right now on which was the better bet, Utd finishing 5th or lower, or Liverpool finishing 4th or higher, I reckon the odds are about even - I wouldn't much like to bet on either one with any confidence. eFestivals
Fergie has apparently said that he turned down Chelsea about 10 years ago - before they first appointed Moaniho. While that might be true, I suspect that it's probably a kick at "the special one", to suggest that he'd be a relative nobody if fergie had gone to Chelsea and not be special at all.Why would fergie do that? Cos Moaniho has been bullshitting about knowing that fergie was leaving to save face, when the cry-baby stories say that he knew sweet FA.
