I'm not sure where I heard this or if it is bull or not, but weren't Paramore supposedly offered a Sonisphere headline slot in 2012, but turned it down so they could sub The Cure at R&L as Hayley loves them?

KISS for 3rd stage headliners after their stock fell by not making it to 2nd stage headliners last year and destroying Soni previously. Queen with Rylan to close third on Sunday too.

Led Zeppelin didn't headline R&L last year, so they're not big enough to headline the main stage there.

Metallica are subbing AC/DC at Soni. Explains why some are saying they are booked while others say they ain't headlining.

Someone not headlining a festival doesn't mean they're no longer headline sized. Metallica didn't headline last year, are they now not headline sized? You seem to have used them not headlining as proof that you were right about them no longer being headline sized.

Don't know if Soni would copy the Prodigy/C+S when they are trying to return as a competitor for DL, there was a lot of people who were not happy about that and DL only got away with it because they were already established, far too risky

Absolutely correct.

Kiss supposedly weren't big enough to headline and if they played would headline the second stage. They didn't play anywhere, which apparently means that gazza was correct when he said they weren't big enough to headline.

I don't think Soni can be picky about headliners tbh. If Bullet was a headliner then they should bite the hand off of Prodigy for the other slot as otherwise they'd probably have to bump Machine Head up there or something. I'm not sure Machine Head would ever want to play soni again anyway.... they had a 'fall out'.

Expect Prodigy to headline V anyway.
