thetime
It's in the dead forum section, it's mostly filled with arguements between gazza and blackcrow about who's more right.
jump
Yeah download are have a bit of a nightmare with this one. Makes me wonder if soni really is back and have pulled in some bigger names already. Highly doubt that though! But yeah the albums in full thing really is abit of a gimmick now especially when it's being used to try and make a difference to identical headline set 3 years beforehand, even though it's a great album. FOB....well they should have kept in their hiatus. Can't see the new album being loved by the majority of metal heads. Avenged is the only sensible booking for me, I think a headline shot with them is good, and of all download esque bands to give the opportunity, they stand tall. Rob zombie....I mean Jesus the musics ok and all but.....it's a major festival. He is ridiculously underground to sub
mrtourette
I said let's see how it would look based on the guys rumours or words to that effect.
Black_Crow
You're right, that bit where you said "I suppose you guys are right, perhaps Download have booked them on a similar deal to what Slipknot/ Stone Sour were last year" sounds like you were definitely sure they were doing Soni. Yellow_Fellow
I haven't changed my mind on that, I was just going along with that particular rumour to see how it would look.

The Placid Casual
I'm not sure what I'd crease more at, BlackCrow being right or Metallica being announced for Download tomorrow
Lithium05
Well, I can't see Sunday saving this one. Linkin Park pretending to play Hybrid Theory is no more appealing than Linkin Park pretending to play their usual set (I've seen them several times, they definitely mime, never played live in their career as far as I can tell) Fall Out Boy at the festival is not a bad booking per se, but subbing the main stage just looks weak. The nicest thing I can say about Avenged Sevenfold is that at least they're not Bullet for my Valentine, but if they're considered headliners now, it's only a matter of time. If it is Aerosmith and Alter Bridge, barring a stellar second stage, for the first time in 10 years, I won't be going.

Mouseboy11
The argument about Linkin Park miming just sounds like rubbish to me, I'm not a huge fan by any means and although I've never seen them live if they mimed I imagine there'd be much more said about it. LEMON_WOLF
If they mimed why does Chester sometimes go out of tune? They have vocal effects for some of the harder screams but so does SOAD these days

Asdaprice
Still better then a rap artist walking around stage rapping half the lyrics to the song and letting a CD player do the rest. Well worth watching that.

Yellow_Fellow
I dunno, I read it more as just generally being ignorant to hip hop live.

devilman
Bite it. Hip hop live is about way more than just busting out what was on the record.
