Amy Lawn
I think the XX thing was a one-off. TSP were true headliners on the Sunday this year (you'd imagine anyway), but the XX wanted to play in the dark, and also it reduced the crowd movement a fair bit. bamber
I was about to say, isn't she in prison so could be a bit tricky! Ah, only for 3 months from July 2013 it seems and then 3 months house arrest.
bamber
Not so much a prediction, more a genuine, heartfelt hope. Would be the best headliner ever in my humble opinion. She Deserves it, just to sing X-Factor alone. The voice ain't what it used to be, but it still has the power to inspire and humble. Vieuphoria
I'd fucking love to see Lauryn Hill. Or even a reunited Fuugees if they ever get their shit together.
Babyquack
Do you guys think The Prodigy have a chance of playing next year? I'm afraid I don't really know how Glasto chooses acts at all! Next year will (hopefully!!) be my first year at the festival after doing Reading for the past 3 years. Babyquack
Fair comments. I'd like to see the there but I'm not going to be devastated when they're not announced How about Biffy? Perhaps not as headliners but I could see them being pretty successful headlining the Other stage opposite a more pop/rap act on the Pyramid? thewayiam
I think, now that they've headlined Reading, they'll headline Glastonbury next time they play! Assuming that the next album is relatively successful. The same goes for Kasabian (to the poster above!).
GlastoSimon
I agree with you mate, last time I said about Biffy headlining next time they play though I got shot down. Kasabian is a strange one - it's almost like they are happy to play wherever Glasto want them, which for them is fairplay I guess, it's just whether or not Eavis takes up their it'll only take a phone call. But when are Kasabian due a new album out?, I reckon if they don't head it off the back of that, they won't and yeah Biffy probably need another mainstream album and I can see Glasto booking them off the back of that. We could it being like one one year and the other the following.
thewayiam
I assume that Kasabian will headline, they've done that at most of the other major UK festivals now. I think their next album is due out sometime next year.
GuitarManDan15
I think Kasabian for 2015 would be a fair shout. Especially if they stay away from UK festivals next summer and V don't get them. It'll be 3 years (R+L 12) since their last proper festival performance, and possible 6 years since their last glasto performance subbing the pyramid

Festie.Fan
My predictions and reasons for choice Pink Floyd - Due to a cancellation back in 1971 Boomtown Rats - Never done Glasto The Blockheads - reformed but without Ian Dury Flying Pickets - Touring next year in May Other Possible's The Police Simon & Garfuncle The Monkees Don't think Arcade Fire or Manic Street Preachers. due to being there before Was announced earlier this year that 3 bands had been booked and none of the 3 bands had ever done a gig at Glastonbury before
5co77ie
Simon & Garfunkle
thewayiam
Kasabian are my favourite band, so I hope they do headline! But one thing I can tell you for sure, they won't have any slot other than headline. They turn down any slot they are offered in the UK unless they are headlining (I know they didn't headline Hackney Weekend- That was odd), because they believe they need to keep new music coming through at the top, and not have all reformed bands headlining all the time... They even turned down supporting The Stone Roses at Heaton Park! In regards to their album, it'll be out in March
DL50
Im very bored of Kasabian constantly doing the rounds these past few years but i think a Glastonbury headline in 2014 or 2015 is inevitable, it is important to push British bands

Zero_Newnab
QFT I don't believe this "Kasabian will headline" bollocks. They've done the rounds for every UK fest, so they're a very much spent commodity, I don't think Micheal or Emily are in any rush to book the most uninspired meat n two veg guitar lad rock outfit going.
