I’d think Rise Against are way too big for it but depends how well they’ve sold tickets. They seem big everywhere but not massive in the UK. 

You pretty much awnserd it your self here, but think more of the kooks than wombats in terms of popularity

Wages are higher than inflation.

while its irrelevant as you say keeping people talking about the festival all year round is pretty sensible in my opinion , just adds a little to it or theyd not bother with announcements at all 

But how? Am I out of the loop on something? I know them from that one hit they did waaaaay back, but apart from that, have they done anything remarkable? The definition of a one hit wonder. Feels like the US version of the Wombats in that sense.   I know they're still a thing in the US for some reason.
