The actual Download venue generally is sh*t. The only thing really going for it is further back up a hill you can see the whole stage. Second Stage has always reminded me an area I'd expect a tent for like the Avalanche to be that kinda size. If it was upto me I'd shift a load of all those food areas and back the second stage upto where Avalanche is right now.
I like the Chroma stuff to listen to on Spotify - is a better show than them live - absolutely not - Everyone I know who has seen Chroma live seems to be on the we will wait till they do the normal live show again next time to see them - That being said the rest of the BICEP WHP line up is great so still surprised it has not sold out
Roughbloke believes Foos are still in for Reading.
BST would be my choice if I was LP. To go to a venue completely by itself with bands you choose and sell to people where there is much less controversy in what they are now. I'll be honest, if I was a regular Download attendee I might see LP with two top other bookings as a weak outfit. I say this as a huge fan of the past of them too but with just Mike from the original it's just not the same. Like I have no intention paying separately for them for those who do will. I don't think this year for Download was a year to book them alongside a Green Day or one of the others. Ghost, LP and Maiden for example would make so much more sense.
I think Robbie 4th down would go down fine, as a headliner I think it would be frowned upon but there is no doubting he could deliver. I think Rihanna and Robbie in the same year would be awful.
