Zoo Music Girl
To cross threads. I'd definitely stir his porridge. Higgs was awesome. One highlight was warren fucking up the flute part on real cool. Extremely funny. Eternity was obviously ace with him at front just like hiding. It's a great venue for stuff like that to be honest. Where was Thomas by the way. I notice at glasto but thought it may be a one off. Good to see Barry on drums and xylophone but bizarre he wasn't there. And I love infest badroute Nick's porridge? Confused were you? I have to admit I didn't pay much attention to the rest of the band. I swapped sides on Sunday to get a better look at Warren but I can't take my eyes off Nick really. Zoo Music Girl
Yeah it does ruin the element of surprise. It's so hard not to look though. I blame Russy. That setlist Justiceforcedave posted did way more damage! We've not stopped talking about songs from that now, four of which have not been aired. Gotta be at Koko innit. russycarps
I'm not having that. I thought considering my state I'd done well in removing the spelling cock ups. I don't think he got your porridge reference. You know what Scruffy, I wouldn't rule Koko out. Plenty of people might have friends or partners that cancel. My mate cancelled Saturday for example. Depends how quickly you could hotfoot it down here though. And whether you could afford it. You probably don't quite have the psychotic mentality about it that I had. Zoo Music Girl
Haha! Brilliant. Edit: Fuck! Didn't work properly. But I was appreciating Russy's use of the multiquote facility. Zoo Music Girl
I've only multiquoted once. It was exciting. Do you reckon you'll remember any of this tomorrow? I had to come back Sunday morning to check what I'd posted as I was wasted. Didn't disgrace myself though.
Zoo Music Girl
Minedidn't either. Makes me think russy's added his you tube aids to his multi quote so others can't use it. I'd say it's a phone thing.
Zoo Music Girl
Anyway cheers for the swift review! I'm very impressed. Have a safe journey home!
Zoo Music Girl
Yeah I'll remember it. I'm not that wasted. Just nicely so. It's my phone that's pissed. And russy I won't be that bad. Not working tomorrow so will just get up whenever and drive home. Ok looking at all these words at the end of this post maybe my phone has been drinking - and me. That's a waits reference if you're not a fan. Ingood acctcab It's my phone that's pissed. Rhode Nice Waits reference I am indeed a fan. Like I said, I think there are weird subliminal messages in your footnotes. Nah, I get it, it's a hell of a long way to come on the offchance. Also, the nature of the beast is that you have to turn up with the named purchaser to get a wristband. Keep an eye on these boards though - you never know! It will be the kind of gig that's worth staying sober for, I reckon. That said I'll be getting a little bit sozzled at least.
Zoo Music Girl
I realised it wasn't a good thing when morrisey didn't play I know it's overe at glasto in 2011. Wouldn't have bothered me but I knew he'd been playing it on his tour. Stopped looking them. Weird thing is I started looking again at johnny Marr to see what smiths songs he'd been playing. Need to stop looking until after I've been to gigs again. mien Gah don't talk about that gig! Have never forgiven myself for leaving Mozz for Radiohead. They were unbearably dull and he was awesome - or at least I could tell he would be. Biggest Glasto Regret Ever.

I'm a big radiohead fan but even I realised that secret set thing would be crap. It's a full gig or nothing with them. Morrissey was ace. It's a full gig or nothing with them. Morrissey was ace. He was on great angry form So you're telling me even you didn't go for Radiohead over Morrissey? Fuck sake. I have seen Morrissey before but I could tell from the first couple of songs it was going to be way better than that. It's also put me off seeing Radiohead live ever again. russycarps
Stripped back radiohead gigs are utter shite, gigs with the full band are ace. It's just basic science.

russycarps
I saw a Thom Yorke solo gig the other year, having scruffys vomit from this morning injected into my ears would be more enjoyable. Dreadful stuff
Zoo Music Girl
I saw a Thom Yorke solo gig the other year, having scruffys vomit from this morning injected into my ears would be more enjoyable. Dreadful stuff So it's headline show or nothing then? I'll bear it in mind. I do love them for the record, although I still think The Bends is their best album. Let's keep Radiohead out of this thread though shall we...

Osama Jim Laden
This sums up the gig for me. 'this is basically some poetry I wrote set to music. West country girl.' *unheard aside from warren* 'oh this is a totally different ballgame then. This is way before I learnt to write poetry. Ah want to tell not about a girl.' Slow ones were god is in the house - no crowd singalong. We're not southern twats up here. - people ain't no good and into my arms. Papa won't leave was very early. Finished with Deanna before new song which was a bit disappointing. I thought I understood the difference between jubillee st on record and live after glasto but that was unbelievable! Not sure about the tactics on finishing with a new song but either way Russy needs an ear upgrade. I really liked it. No abattoir blues. Think got. Both papa and jack the rippe instead. Something else russy's wrong about. We real cool was ace live. r hot clues. likedt am singte some Was it 'give us a kiss' he finished on?
