Depends on how loud they perform. Seen them 3 times and one of them really wasn't particularly loud.

I saw them a couple of months ago and I don't think I could hear anyone talking if there was anyone there chatting. The sound still wasn't right though, guitar was too loud and you could barely hear vocals or anything else.

I know that's an element of shoegaze, but they over-shoegazed it.

One of them I definitely could. I expect they'd be toned down if it were at a festival, which probably reduces the chance of them playing anyway.
