hmmmm .... I've yet to see a single post by anyone who was moved to tears by the stones. There's been countless numbers of them from more than one of elbow's performances.

Don't forget, your own opinions on this are heavily influenced by your huge liking of the stones. I could take or leave either band myself and so have no personal investment in anything I'm stating, and what I'm stating is a reflection of what gets said of both.

Really can't stand Elbow, but that's just personal taste. I regret to say they would go down quite well as headliners i think.

On the other hand, i am happy that i will be able to explore other stages at night to broaden the experience

I'd disagree with that.

While there is of course the subjective, sometimes things go beyond that by how many are 'moved' by a band's performance - and being 'moved' is something very different to thinking a band is great.

I was hoping that Chic would elevate themselves to that this year, but sadly they were just the same old Chic (which was still very good, but not that 'special moment').

Hills are shit! Just rang them they had no idea what I was on about and put me through to odds compilers, they put me through to the betting people again who asked me to email them which I have done.

I think they must play the Sunday for those odds to count.............

I've been trying to settle on what day they might play, and failed dismally.

If I was a betting man and had to make a bet, the best I'd go for is "not friday" - but even then I could see them playing Friday (and don't forget, I'm trying to stitch a day onto them when [hopefully] knowing who the other two bands are).

Yeah that they don't include in their set which in '11 was exclusively from their last two albums!

I was very disappointed by this- would have expected an asleep at the back or grace under pressure.

Underwhelmed by this safe announcement- give me arcade fire!

On the Hills website Elbows odds aren't displayed - they'll probably be clever and not put them up either. More than enough big names listed to interest the casual punter

they'll be superb odds on another band I have the name of as headliner (tho something from the last few days has made me have doubts on that now) as they're not one of the listed acts .... so you betting types should get onto them sharpish after tomorrow's revelation.

Wow elbow, sat through them twice at festival and been dreadful both times, tried to get into them but to my ears they are as dull as dishwater! Oh well if i get tickets there's plenty of other things to watch, I hate mumford and managed not to hear a single note of them!

One thing I should mention which was mentioned to me on the phone (very sneaky indeed) the odds are for the Sunday headliner only.
