Morning all! Bright and beautiful in Manchester! Prince was mind-blowingly good last night. Too hot for running but my hubby is in the 10k. Morning! Somehow I have escaped a hangover. I started drinking at 1.30pm yesterday, I managed Pimm's, champagne, cocktails, more champagne then more cocktails then I thought I might fall over so I rang a taxi! Got home about 7.30pm, drank water, cooked and ate asparagus (odd choice but I saw it and wanted it), had a bath and was in bed at 9.30. Rock on!!!

So just been out taking one for the team! Lots of liquid falling sunshine and will definitely have to waterproof my walking boots. All that long dewy grass has meant I came home with puddles in my shoes and had to jump straight into the shower when I got back.

On the plus side I think I have located some elderflower bushes down by the river well away from traffic pollution. Just need a nice sunny evening to go down and forage then have a go at making some sparkly wine!

Well I have been out for a pub lunch (roast, nice), have dropped the car off for its mot tomorrow (eek) and now am going to do a bit of mending and might drink the cider that's lurking in the fridge. It's scorchio today!
