Yoghurt on a Stick
There's been some fantastic effort put in today. The weather Gods will be most happy, and will be benevolent come June. NFR NFC

jeffie
Howling gales, and absolutely moisting down here tonight. Had to shoo the dogs out into the garden. They can take this one for the gods.
ICGenie
Grim one out at Deepdale tonight. Definitely one of those when I think you'd have to pay me £20k a week to spend 90 minutes running around in that sort of weather. Still, not grumbling as it's been the warmest winter (so far) that I can remember in my last few years of being a season ticket holder! carlosj
Torrential yesterday coming home from work, now I'm working from home, it's not. Ah well, sacrifices where necessary, empty the clouds by June.

carlosj
Soft rain all evening, not looking forward to digging the allotment this weekend, sacrifices again from the bloody part timers ;-) Prince may be a great guitarist, but does he know how to prevent gooseberry saw fly? lucyginger
Have you got trouble with pests, Carlos? My sister's fence got blown down, I have volunteered to help fix it. I am willing to take a good soaking whilst doing so, for the cause.

The Nal
The long term weather looks fucking abysmal folks. Bring your wellies and rain gear. Its going to be a mix of 1997,1998, 2005 and 2007. Its going to be a wash out.

lucyginger
No, thankfully, just a bourbon-fuelled train of thought about Prince last night (with other eFest threads), and how being a multi-instrumentalist with a long-established career wouldn't help him answer questions on Radio Leeds gardeners' question time with Joe Maiden. Maybe I could make it into a new series of Stella Street, or maybe I should just get my coat, ha ha

ICGenie
There is no such thing as a "long term weather forecast." Even short term is largely guesswork. The only thing you can trust in is prayer to the gods of sunshine and sacrifice to the gods of wet stuff. NFRNFC (is it bad that it is now in my autocomplete on my phone?!) THEBOILERMAN
just checking in, been a dry and sunny day in glasgow today.
jeffie
Been nice down in Yorks today, but apparently we are in for more moist tomorrow. I'm taken my daughter to see Huddersfield Town, that might be penance enough, but tipping down with moist too must be a double penance
JayBalls
Been a nice day here in Gloucestershire, I'm going to ignore the forthcoming deluge and hurricane whilst watching some funky soul enhancing live music inside.
