I know that earlier on we established that they probably will never play Glastonbury, but check out this performance of Ween. One of the finest I've seen- judging by the youtube comments, there was a thunderstorm before the show and they didn't have time to sound check. They were just playing for their fans. Nailed it from the beginning. Name me one other band who can summon the energy to pull something off like this, given the supposed technical difficulties before the show:

How letting Craig Charles take over the stage for the whole day with the Funk and Soul show but with live performances from his favourite artists eg Maceo Parker, Alice Russell, Haggis Horns etc with Craig playing tracks between each set ... with a headline slot from Roy Ayers!

Manu Chao played twice in 2008 , Jazz World and Pyramid if I remember rightly. Seem to recall he/they went over pretty well. Would have no objection to seeing 'em again.

Sure did, some night, still buzzing.

It was a great atmosphere, small venue only holds about 1500 .

And every single one of those 1500 had a huge grin on their faces, feelgood music of the highest order.
