drink restrictions

This will be my first creamfields and I noticed on the website it says that you can only take 1 crate of cans/plastic bottles (24 max.) & 1 litre of spirits (incl. wine) in a plastic bottle or carton, are they strict in enforceing this? as they had a similar thing on the rockness website a few years ago but it wasn't enforced I turned up with four crates for the weekend and nothing was said. If so is it easy to smuggle extra drink in?

They wont allow 4 crates in but u might get 2 in. It really depends on the mood of the security ppl

As above, sometimes they can be arsey.. Others they're alright!

It's not much of a limit like is it? Especially for the people (like myself) going for 3 days as the limit is exactly the same as what it was for 2 days!

*cream if you're reading... Be like Leeds fest and have NO limit!!* *oh and return bus services to the nearest available supermarket would be cool too! :-)

Decant before arrival & you should be able to smuggle in as much spirits as you like.

The limit is there because ultimately it's a money spinner to have you queuing at bars.

awesome cheers for all the help guys! yea its a pretty shit how low the limit is, I will probs try take it 2 crates and just smuggle the rest in.

I normally pack my rucksack so tight that the security person rarely ventures through it. Cans middle to bottom, no problem.
