ashes.of.the.colours
Thought I'd try and come up with an alright lineup. Tried to be realistic yet varied and also included what would be some suprising, good bookings (which T's been pretty good at in recent years in my opinion). Some of the positions are a bit odd though but hopefully not drastically and I've tried to keep any repeats from last year pretty low (but Bastille and The 1975 did get a bit higher ) and only done a few for each stage. Friday Main: Arctic Monkeys Outkast Bombay Bicycle Club McBusted Radio 1: The Chemical Brothers The Maccabees The 1975 Saturday Main: The Prodigy/Biffy Clyro Jessie J Fall Out Boy Lorde Radio 1: Queens of the Stone Age/Avicii Foster the People The Hives Sunday Main: Eminem Paolo Nutini Franz Ferdinand Weezer Radio 1: The Black Keys Bastille The Wombats Edit: (Was quite long so did last few like this to save space - sorry for nooby mistake) King Tut's: Pixies, Haim / Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Imagine Dragons / Disclosure, Rudimental Transmission: Chvrches / London Grammar / Brand New Edited January 3, 2014 by ashes.of.the.colours

Matt42
Horrific clashes but decent lineup! Why o why is Jessie j that high she's declined in popularity hugely...

uninspired_user
It would appear that V have all but confirmed either Calvin or Fatboy Slim from their facebook post but it's V so it's definitely Calvin

uninspired_user
My question is, if they have booked Calvin like I think they have, is he headlining? he is the first act they are hinting at.

thetime
Calvin is a lot cheaper, which makes me think Calvin could headline and JT&Jay-z could headline the other day...
mrtourette
Get your crystal balls out, how much do you reckon we will get in the February announcement?
Chiefski
It's funny that people are trying to draw up something from that V fest facebook comment, it means nothing. Pop/dance fest using words from catchy pop/dance song shocker. On the Eminem thing, given the time it took him to get to stage last time, maybe thats why they have the extended license for saturday this time? TheGaffer
I'm a fan of Eminem's music, but I would be disappointed if he was announced as a headliner for some reason. I would much rather have Biffy- The Prodigy/Arcade Fire - AM
Matt42
He also plays a really short set
KeiranBanks
And plays with a backing track...

TheHiddenPassenger
Arcade Fire can't be announced because they won't be in Europe in July...

TheHiddenPassenger
Prince will soon be announcing a UK tour featuring old / classic material... surely he's a contender for the "legend" slot? DomDom1984
I always seem to come back to convos too late, but McBusted didn't play live on their Children in Need show, but on many TV shows like that, more credible acts haven't played live. I remember seeing Placebo not playing their instruments but singing live and Manic Street Preachers have done it before too. EDIT: T has a legend slot?! Andre91
Prince would absolutely, without a shadow of a doubt headline the main stage at any festival he was booked for.
Gucci Piggy
He would demand a main or NME headliner. Glastonbury would take him as a headliner.
