Posted a while back that I thought Big Country could be good maybe opening Sunday or something. Just got tickets for the Clutha benefit at the Barra`s with them and Frightened Rabbit next month. £20 for a good cause.

Should be a good night but won`t be as good as this....

Chrvches would be mid-near top King Tuts I reckon, got a good amount of airplay throughout the year and the album was received really well across most areas

One of the most well received albums of the year across the board as far as I can tell.

"Tether" will be on my iPod for ages. Stunning song.

Bombay Bicycle club seem to be touring the US in Spring.

Would love them to play but the tour looks like it's only half announced, as it's only the west coast dates that are around at the moment.

Wasn't their album released after their appearance? It got to 9 in the charts and they appeared in the new FIFA so I think they probably merit quite a high place now

If V announces in feburary, is it possible T and V are sharing a massive act holding back the announcement? Because I can't remember a time where the V lineup has come before the T lineup..

T always has their main announcement come the mid-end of february, there probably isnt anything in it. Didn't Reading and Leeds have their main announcement last February too actually?

If they've booked eminem, he must be holding back announcements...

Has the Eminem rumour come from anywhere substantial? Or are we just talking about him touring and putting 2 + 2 together?

I would not be surprised if the main reason alot of EU tests are holding back announcements / their last headliner. Is because Eminem is probably gonna announce the rest of the tour in feburary, just before it kicks off.

This is the bit I'm not convinced by as he did dates last summer, he didn't announce in one batch but seperatly.

I can't see him having the clout in saying 'your not announcing as I want to'.

Seems a bit odd, he may well play though.

He's a very demanding person, dates this year are stadiums etc which makes me thing T is the only UK festival he's doing, as a scottish date. Maybe he wanted to do the Hydro but T steered him as a coup.

Didn't rihanna do something similar last year? Play stadiums and the only festival / scottish date she did was T.

I've no doubt he is demanding.

I would of thought if he as people are implying wants to announce all his dates in one go, last year he would if done the same.

Rhianna did a few fests in Europe.

exactly that's what I think is happening, he's doing pretty much what Rihanna did in 2013.

I won't be surprised if Eminem does something like this.

A few nights at the 02, Cardiff, and other big places. Plays T as the only scottish date.

Then in europe headlines Rosklide etc and maybe a few others like Rock Wercheter.

Na they announced a headliner and like 6 or 7 acts before christmas the majority came out in Feb as always
