T In The Park 2014

You know we had a theory that T did have co-headliners but maybe one of them fell through?

Reckon it actually might have been the stones? They've been announced for dates very close to T in the Park in Europe.

Well, I'd imagine that Example will be much higher if he plays on main stage, and Tinie Tempah too probably.

That said, I fully expect it to be Monkeys/Bugg/Tempah. I expect that Example will headline King Tuts too. Imagine Dragons probably subbing the Radio 1 stage or in behind Tempah.

black keys were one of my punts a few weeks ago for the sunday, the way its looking now is that it could actually be them. personally id love to see them again. seen them a couple of years ago on their tour and from what i remember the majority of the tour was sold out with the couple of exceptions. may not go down well at T but i think they would be a great sub for the monkeys

It's a very opportunistic shift in tone for them. It was obviously coming off the back of the success of El Camino. They've seen the opportunity and took a lunge at it.

I think it's a good effort from them. Certainly a better effort than many who have done the same before them. The funky kind of feel it has from the beginning doesn't do it any harm in my eyes, and is a nice ease into the song.

Can see why Black Keys fans might be disappointed though. It does sound like a bit of a shift.

Worth noting that the Saturday probably has the most acts that I REALLY want to see over the weekend. That actually really appeals to me right now...

Pharrell Williams

Rudimental

James

John Newman

Embrace

The Human League

The Stranglers

We Are Scientists

Now, that's just my "REALLY want to see" list. As well as my only must-see of the weekend in Embrace. I'm actually quite excited about it. I think as long as John Newman and Embrace don't clash, I'll be delighted.

Just listened to the Kaiser Chiefs album, really enjoyed it. Their last couple of albums have been fading in to mediocrity, but this one has more guts to it. Definitely keen to hear the new stuff at T.

My must see list is:

Biffy Clyro

Twin Atlantic

We Are Scientists

Franz Ferdinand

Kaiser Chiefs
