bastille subbing radio one seems far to low for them if they are playing fourth down at V.

Unless they are subbing the V stage, which may be possible looking at the poster.

I think acts subbing R1 are roughly same size as those playing 3rd/4th down main stage. For example, Dizzee Rascal and Foals last year would have been fine 4th down main stage. And Paloma Faith and Two Door Cinema Club could have been good subs for the R1 stage

I'd like to think Bastille won't get a stupidly high slot, but I reckon they probably will and to be honest that's what's making me feel like a sunday sub isn't coming.

Would Weller play fourth down as well?

If Paul Weller is third or fourth down while Bastille are subbing and elbow and Calvin Harris headlining T in the park has jumped the fuckin' shark......

Showing my age my first gig was the Jam at the Apollo Glasgow, both Harris and elbow are beyond bland.

The album seldom seen kid is a decent album, build a rocket boys is possibly the worst album I have bought, and I own a Ben Marwood album.....

Bastille were rank last year and the crowd only got into it when they got to Pompeii...I thought they were too high up last year so god/Allah/Buddha knows what they have done to warrant the move higher up....

I know a fair amount of the acts are shit but that's still a really strong lineup even without an unannounced sub. Can't see anyone else slotting in that high up.

compared to most other festivals (bar glasto) T's done very well.

This year seems to be no exception to be honest, T always pulls out strong lineups year after year. Even 2012 was pretty strong compared to rival festivals!

He's a boss level bell end. If T are actually wasting money trying to get him to turn up then they are stupider than their line up suggests, and putting Weller so far down is crass stupidity.

The one time he did bother to stay sober enough to turn up and perform he was dire. There are very few acts I have walked away from mid set and none bar Babyshambles when there was absolutely nothing else on. Over rated, overexposed, shite waste of space.

Im starting to think there wont be a sub added but people are forgetting Paul Weller just isn't that popular compared to other acts on the lineup having him heading main or radio 1 would be ridiculous despite his talent deserving those spots
