I accidentally stumbled across him at Rockness a few years ago in a tent, and was slightly blown away with how good he was live. I don't really like any of his songs but I could watch him perform all day. Looking forward to him at T now after watching this.

What's the deal with Friday being a full day this year? I see that there's a few less large acts on the poster, so if it's still gonna be a full day could they just close a stage (King Tuts) like they do with the slam tent and the acts could all fit nicely. Could even have Pixies on main...

Passenger busked at the top of Buchanan Street yesterday and had a wee rant about DF preventing him from announcing Scottish tour dates until after T. His argument was that he has a new album out soon and these tour dates are more important for him in both selling the album and making money. But the promoters are refusing to announce the shows until after T.

to get more ticket sales i suppose. people will be less likely to buy tickets if they know about the clashes, eg if the main bands they want to see are biffy and pixies and they were then on at the same time they wouldnt want to then fork out
