Could Band of Skulls headline Transmissions? I've only recently got in to them so I'm not sure whether they're too big or small for that slot.

I'd say so, they're headlining the equivalent at R+L and were third down in 2012 under The Horrors and Reverend + The Makers.

Which was an excellent set, we were in there (not because of the rain honest) Reverand and the makers were superb as well. We had planned to stay for the horrors but at the last minute went to kasabian.

Agreed - both were great. We left just before the end of Reverend + The Makers and went home due to exhaustion though, which I now regret as I wouldn't mind catching Kasabian.

Harryomatic - just been looking through your clashfinder, where did you get your timings for the Saturday? Or was it just a guess. And how do you know only the radio 1 stage isn't open later ?

judging by the amount of bands on radio 1 stage on the saturday i cant see it being open until 1am. i could be wrong but thats what it suggests. plus i cant see elbow playing until 1 in the morning, bad enough they are playing until 11 really

Just checked the poster, and I think you are probably right. 8 bands on Saturday, and 8 bands on Sunday

main reason that suggests it is tuts have the same amount of bands and that states more TBA and radio 1 doesnt but that said they could easily change their mind. couldnt imagine elbow being a late night band though but i bet they pull a decent-ish crowd for T, or at least better than beady eye last year(or just all those not wanting to watch nutini or embrace)

Saw The Orwells last night, was a brilliant show. I was speaking to the singer at the end though (he's very pleasant but quite mental) and he told me that the only festival they're doing this summer is R+L

Is it possible that an act that are 'headlining' a stage don't actually close it? This has happened before, Strokes were billed as headliners and top of the poster but Swedish House Mafia closed.
