Has anyone considered that a 'big' booking could be someone that might not be a main headliner? like your special off the norm like a Kraftwork to a Tom Jones? Sir Eltons doing some shows around the time down south to give random example of this...

I don't expect anything from T after the last couple of years but theres always a thought deep inside that makes me believe there will be a lineup that blows me away but I live in hope

On that point you made Cheifski, when you think about it how great a booking was that getting Kraftwerk to play, for all the failings of the lineup that was an exceptional booking despite the mixed reaction it got

As others have said I don't think it will be far of arctic monkeys and biffy + plus 1.

That 1 is anyone's guess, pop headliner or massive act. I am going in between and wouldn't be surprised if it was blur, oasis or even radiohead.

A few years back on the afternoon after the Feb announcement, didn't Geoff say he was about to announce a massive American superstar and it turned out to be Niki Minaj or whatever she's called. Treat his proclamations now with a bag of salt.

Good tip earlier in thread suggesting it's daft to get your hopes up that it'll be something special. You'll only be disappointed when Snow Patrol are announced again.

It will only be a headliner and possibly 2 or 3 smaller bands anyway I reckon so I will be waiting till the Feb announcement anyway

if i remember last year and the year before there was no hype about an announcement. they just done it

we're 3 weeks off last years announce date so i'd be surprised if its tomorrow
