justanothername
Regarding Slipknot, I'd see them if they played, and it'd be an interesting booking. If they don't play I won't care, I don't listen to them.
Gucci Piggy
It wont happen at as much I would like it to. I'd be happy if they did but I would be disappointed if they did. This is the wishlist so I can put anything I want. Edited October 31, 2013 by Will-2609

justanothername
I've found Soundgarden hit and miss live. Never awful, but there wasn't much appreciation at Download and I think that fed into a weaker performance. The pitiful volume at Hyde Park really hurt them as well. By contrast, their September tour was far too awesome. I'm not sure how they'd go down at R+L, and if unappreciated, I don't think it'd be that good a performance either. giantwagon
Arcade Fire - Queens Of The Stone Age - Arctic Monkeys Smashing Pumpkins, Slipknot, The Libertines, Two Door Cinema Club, Editors, Neutral Milk Hotel. As a little added bonus - The Style Council reunion Edited November 3, 2013 by gweb
kaosmark2
I heard this as well. Got loads of people defending them for the Download performance by saying "Oh they said nothing to the crowd as it gives them more time for the songs" In my opinion I would give up one (even two) songs for a good crowd experience! Com Truise
I'd place them top of the NME, but they've probably got greater appeal to the Reading audience than other 90's alt-rock bands like FNM and ATDI that have had that slot, so I'd say they COULD sub rather than would. kaosmark2
okay, Matt Cameron can double up then Pearl Jam QOTSA Soundgarden Rise Against BRMC A Day To Remember letlive. dentalplan
I'm not sure whether they'd play 3rd. They might, but it'd seem low to me, but then sub would seem high. And if Matt Cameron's doubling up already, we can get half the rest of them to and have Temple of the Dog in there. And ADTR don't deserve to be preceding THAT run

the wonderwhy
Why's that? They were about that when they were at their peak, front page of NME and all that. Their shows are fairly small now and I'm not sure how well they sell. I'd say 6th or 7th, perhaps FR headline.
