Sorry.... been out all day.
- Multiple DIFFERENT browsers - yes (each browser will give a unique queue id)
- Multiple windows - no (each window in the same browser will simply replicate the one queue id giving no advantage)
-Multiple devices on same IP connection - almost certainly no disadvantage as with queuing (if it happens...) F5'ing like your life depends on it will be out the window.
All based on current understanding obvs....
Going to throw in Ice Nine Kills as up and comers as I’ve not seen them mentioned. Obviously been around for a while, but their trajectory has taken a massive upward turn in recent years.
Pretty much bang on I'd say....at least it mirrors my own thinking at this point.
- More devices = more queue id's = more chances.
- Bump that further by using a selection of different browsers eg Chrome, Firefox, IE on each device on the basis that each unique browser gives you a unique queue id.
- Take a copy of each queue id as you join so that you can reload it if things at your end, or their's, go belly up.
- Swot up on how to copy a queue-id and send to someone else to use. If you're in a trusted group then use your queue-id to buy for others (if your queue-id is spare obvs....), but if not then send it to someone else to help them. Remember that queue-id's cannot be used concurrently so remember to close your queue once you've sent it or else your buddy may get a 'queue id invalid' error.
