MGMT announced for Open'er festival today so that pretty much confirms them for Rock Werchter, but I think we knew they'd play anyway!

Rock Werchter twitter has stated acts will be announced very soon so that makes me think there will be an announcement either later today or tomorrow morning following the festival awards tonight.

Jack White will be headlining a festival in america in early June. Can see him subbing Arctic Monkeys.

Never seen Jack White in any form; if I could pick any non-headline act to play it'd be him.

I might be wrong on this one, I'm sure I've read recently that the strokes have never played in belguim.

The Strokes an Julian Casablancas both playing that festival. Both projects going to be underway at the same time, then. Genuinely thought The Strokes were a write off for this year.

The Strokes played a tiny club gig back in their early days, then they never bothered to pass here again. Viewing that they've been in Western Europe during Werchter like 4 times since 2001, and during Pukkelpop once or twice, I wouldn't call them a rumour just yet.

Not to mention Casablancas releasing a solo album and having some dates lined up for Spring and early Summer.

I think deadmau5 was more a closing act, however jack White could easily jump up a slot, and he probably wouldn't play non-headlining, seeing how the black keys are headlining.

Still think daft punk are a wild card, but won't announce anything until the Grammys are out of the way.

Really? They just had two headliners on that night; a normal night is one headliner, like the Rammstein day last year.
