Gucci Piggy
Foo Fighters for me. QOTSA, Weezer, Bush, Deftones, Marilyn Manson, Bad Religion, Mastodon and Offspring as undercard Plus I wanna really strong headliner in the Barn of friday as I'm not interested in Arctic Monkeys...Nine Inch Nails would be nice
foolee
MGMT announced for Open'er festival today so that pretty much confirms them for Rock Werchter, but I think we knew they'd play anyway! Rock Werchter twitter has stated acts will be announced very soon so that makes me think there will be an announcement either later today or tomorrow morning following the festival awards tonight. foolee
Jack White will be headlining a festival in america in early June. Can see him subbing Arctic Monkeys.

Gucci Piggy
Never seen Jack White in any form; if I could pick any non-headline act to play it'd be him.
guitarbhoy1888
i'd have jack white headline dont think many others would agree but i'd be ecstatic with him as the last headliner
foolee
The Strokes also playing the same festival, would be loving if they were to play Rock Werchter. Hope that means they have a good chance! Here is the lineup... https://twitter.com/GovBallNYC/status/423488810018942978/photo/

foolee
I might be wrong on this one, I'm sure I've read recently that the strokes have never played in belguim.
Gucci Piggy
The Strokes an Julian Casablancas both playing that festival. Both projects going to be underway at the same time, then. Genuinely thought The Strokes were a write off for this year.
thetime
Not sure if that makes them more or less likely!
Gucci Piggy
A Sunday lineup of this would be cool, although I have no idea how big The Strokes would be in Belgium... Muse The Strokes Jack White Three of my four favourite current acts. Couldn't complain.
thetime
Scrap that it seems the strokes played belguim in 2002. http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/the-strokes/2002/ancienne-belgique-brussels-belgium-4bd60bca.html
Dietediet
The Strokes played a tiny club gig back in their early days, then they never bothered to pass here again. Viewing that they've been in Western Europe during Werchter like 4 times since 2001, and during Pukkelpop once or twice, I wouldn't call them a rumour just yet. Not to mention Casablancas releasing a solo album and having some dates lined up for Spring and early Summer.

Sparticus
Played 3rd, 4th if you count the dance act and I can see him going up to sub. Was very good though.
Gucci Piggy
I think deadmau5 was more a closing act, however jack White could easily jump up a slot, and he probably wouldn't play non-headlining, seeing how the black keys are headlining. Still think daft punk are a wild card, but won't announce anything until the Grammys are out of the way.

thetime
The top two are normally classed as headliners, unless there's a dance act on afterwards, like depeche mode/editors last year, both out and out headliners (in Belgium)

foolee
Just a quick one, what alcohol do they sell at the bars apart from beer?
thetime
Really? They just had two headliners on that night; a normal night is one headliner, like the Rammstein day last year.

Gucci Piggy
Nick Cave was the headliner but played before volbeat, all very confusing. kings of leon/blur for example.
