I remember during Muse in 2006 (Leeds) and it absolutely chucked it down. The hill to Orange was like liquid mud!

I remember in 2005 it was absolutely hammering down on entry, some parts were liquid mud then 2 hrs later the sun blazed out and it was completely solid underneath, not even spongey mud it when hard, and stayed blazing sun all weekend!

Hammering it down doesn't soak the ground through, most of it runs off and it only turns a very thin layer to mud which will bake quickly. Soft, steady rain is much more likely to make everything squelchy.

Worst ever at Leeds was 08. It rained like crazy constantly weds and thurs. Friday was a mud bath, but it was sunny the rest of the weekend and all the mud was like glue. Was a fucking nightmare.

Well the weather is currenlty horrific about 30 miles ESE of Reading, constant heavy drizzle, big puddles formed.

Would not fancy queuing/ putting a tent up in this if its like it on site

I'm there now watching a horrible paramore cover band for the wife haha. It's a little muddy in places in the campsite but the arenas fine and its pretty hot
