The Charlatans were amazing, but Primal Scream were just better. The Rock & Roll band of this era.

Public Enemy are legendary for a reason, and along with the gobsmackingly amazing Seasick Steve gave a nice international flavour. Basement Jaxx were great too, love their stage show (though the second time I've seen it this year).

Glow Tent wise I found Friday pretty disappointing. Sunday was much better though, Grooverider was amazing.

Also, the Kendale Calling specially-brewed festival beer was delicious.

Consider me a regular!

Sunday main stage was awesome. primal scream were amazing with fantastic support from seasick Steve & johnny marr.

ash were pretty good on Saturday. We missed the charlatans to see British sea power who were great.

of younger bands drenge & grammatones looked the real deal.

first time at Kendal & had a blast.

Friday - Lightening Seeds, The Heartbreaks & Waylayers

Saturday - Charlatans (Thought Tim took a couple of songs to get going though), Ash, Sons & Lovers & London Grammar.

Sunday - Primal Scream, Johnny Marr, Beans on Toast, Public Service Broadcasting.

Surprised that they were on the main stage, but enjoyed both Drenge & Dolomite Minor.

I just don't get Kodaline. I can take one song, but then just a dirge to me.

Thought Riot Jazz Band, Mickey P Kerr, Beans on Toast, Ash, Flight of Arrows were all decent and entertaining.

Really surprised how good Seasick Steve was because i wasn't really that bothered about watching him but glad i did.

A Plastic Rose and Sons and Lovers were the two i enjoyed the most.

Didnt spend a lot of time at the main stage but Johnny Marr was a class act, the twang played a good set and seasick steve was as mental as ever.

Spent a lot of time at the woodland watching local acts, paper cranes were my highlight but bad bad me was good and the feud really got the crowd going on saturday night.

other than that nina nesbitt was pretty good but for a younger crowd than myself and dub pistols were class as always even though i nearly drowned dancing to them outside the tent!

Johnny Marr, BMX Bandits, Charlatans, Primal Scream, Ash, I Am Kloot, Drenge, Tea Street Band, Dutch Uncles, Fossil Collective, Seasick Steve, Sweet Baboo, Lightning Seeds, all ace.

I enjoyed Micky P Kerr's songs, but I wasn't keen on his spoken word stuff. The driving instructor one was awful.

I did see a poet called Thick Richard on the Solar Stage on Friday night though and he was brilliant.
