Arcade Fire

Would love to see North American Scum, Someone Great, Drunk Girls or I Can Change.

Or even All My Friends. An Arcade Fire take on that would be interesting.

I think Drunk Girls would be most likely though, maybe just before Normal Person. Got the backing vocals and the general vibe you'd need for that.

I think Despacio is a late night thing too so it could well happen.

That said, I'd be equally happy with Jarvis and Common People.

Edit:

Starting to think that -

Reflektor

Flashbulb Eyes

Neighbourhood #3 (Power Out)

Rebellion (Lies)

Joan of Arc

The Suburbs

The Suburbs (Continued)

Ready to Start

Neighbourhood #1 (Tunnels)

No Cars Go

We Exist

Afterlife

It's Never Over (Oh Orpheus)

Sprawl II

---

Drunk Girls

Normal Person

Here Comes the Night Time

Wake Up

would be a really, really, really sexy setlist.

That'd be their 90 minute setlist…with an extra 15 minutes you can expect at least another 3 slipped in there…something in between Joan of Arc and The Suburbs (Rococco, Month of May have featured here), and a couple of extras around Tunnels/No Cars Go (Laika, Crown of Love, Intervention, Ocean of Noise, Keep the Car Running, Headlights have all popped up here in their longer sets and they are pretty certain to play Haiti around here as well)…Set list apart from 2-3 surprises is pretty set in stone by the looks of things now…

Shit, I forgot about the extra 15 minutes. Well, part of that would be given to We Exist's length. Then I'd say Rococo and Haiti.

That would be class. From a mixture of realism and wishful thinking (most definitely mainly wishful thinking) I'm hoping for something like:

Neighbourhood #1 (Tunnels)

Neighbourhood #2 (Laika)

Neighbourhood #3 (Power Out)

Rebellion (Lies)

Joan of Arc

The Suburbs

The Suburbs (Continued)

Ready to Start

No Cars Go

Haiti

We Exist

Keep the Car Running

Afterlife

It's Never Over (Oh Orpheus)

Sprawl II

---

Refkletor (with David Bowie)

Let's Dance (with David Bowie)

Drunk Girls (with James Murphy)

Common People (with Jarvis Cocker)

Here Comes the Night Time

Wake Up

& yes I realise that's probably and definitely too much to ask for, I really wanted to include so much more as well, a song with Debbie Harry wouldn't go a miss too. I realise Flashbulb Eyes is probably a dead cert. too but oh well. Really wish they'd play Crown of Love & My Body is a Cage (original version), but there's just too much to chose from. It's going to be brilliant, two weeks today :dancer:

I would love them to play We Used To Wait, one of my favourites from The Suburbs

The Suburbs has so many good songs on it. We Used to Wait & Month of May rarely get played now, neither does Empty Room or Deep Blue (which I think are two really underrated songs). I really love Sprawl I too which I've never heard of them play it live?

Setlist fantasies.

I'll throw in my two pence;

Here Comes The Night Time

We Used To Wait

Power Out

Joan Of Arc

Keep The Car Running

Haiti

We Exist

Ready To Start

It's Never Over

Afterlife

No Cars Go

Rebellion

The Sprawl II

-------------------

Reflektor

Tunnels

Wake Up

Completely unrealistic, wishful thinking only, no basis in reality.

I love Month of May, luckily they played it at earls court. I would love love Sprawl I as well but unfortunately they have only ever played it 3 times, not looking likely. However, they did play We Used To Wait 5 times on the American leg of the tour so fingers crossed!

I am quite upset by the amount they cut from Neon Bible these days, I love that album so much.

James Murphy would be very cool, but I reckon the Jarvis one is more likely. It’d be a really iconic Glastonbury moment, whereas I’d expect James Murphy to turn up at one of the New York shows (The Unicorns re-united and supporting, by the way!) anyway. Both would be cool, but I dunno, I wouldn’t want a songs like Drunk Girls taking the place of one of their own.

I think this would be one of many ideal setlists (completely impossible though)

Reflektor

Tunnels

Laika

Power Out

Rebellion

Windowsill

The Suburbs

The Suburbs (Continued)

Ready To Start

(Antichrist Television Blues)

We Used To Wait

My Heart Is An Apple

Afterlife

Keep The Car Running

We Exist

No Cars Go

My Body Is A Cage

Sprawl I

Sprawl II

Month Of May

Here Comes The Night Time

Wake Up

Total Runtime = 1 hour 46 Minutes so doable for Glastonbury

*fingers crossed*

That was challenging on an ipad! Yeah it'll never happen but that's what i'd like. Shows when it comes down to it i rate the albums in the order they came out (though they're all pretty close)
