It was a great gig last night. Shook hands with Win at the end as well. I've seen them five times on this tour and every show has been great!

Saturday night was brilliant too. we got Marky Ramone as the guest...i was sure that all the Ramones had passed away though, so had to google that one, and while not one of the 4 original Ramones he did drum longer than Tommy

Celebrities are donating basketballs to Win then?

Very cunning.

I hope will comes and does a solo show in manchester, love the guy

Would be great, although considering its only an EP and all of his shows so far have been opening for relatively obscure bands, I don’t think it’s too likely.

I’m just desperate for another album and tour, really. It’ll be a long couple of years if they stick with the current cycle of time between albums. I’m kind of hoping it might be a bit sooner this time around though, as I have a slight feeling they might go down more of a punk route in terms of sound, in which case they could work from the ‘abrasive' songs that were left off Reflektor.

Yeh I expect a 2016 release and a tour. I still feel a bit mugged off that they played London 5 times but only played rest of uk 3, and those were just the reflektors shows. I know they have the baby and they cut down the tour and everything but it's just annoying that London got the only 3 big shows over here. And that North America got 2 legs of the arena tour.

I am still holding out for something else european/UK based before the next album! Seems a very short cycle :P

I think they’ve pretty much confirmed that they’re done with the Reflektor tour now. Will, Richard and Sarah have their own solo stuff going on (plus Owen, as well), so they’ll probably be busy with that for a while, hopefully whilst Win and Regine are writing lots of great songs. But yeah, a new album in 2016 sounds right. Can understand the frustration about only playing in London, although it worked for me. They were definitely planning to return in the autumn, maybe the supposedly 'last minute' Hyde Park offer changed their plans?

Slightly unrelated, but I remember an interview a while ago in which Jeremy said his favourite Arcade Fire song was an unreleased one from the Reflektor sessions (not Get Right). Think it had a french name. Something to look out for.

The band wanted to come back and hit up a few other places in the uk around Christmas as they know they missed out loads of people - at least this was what I was told by Richard back in June so hopefully that's still on the cards but the closer it gets, the less likely it seems :(

The Hyde park gig was advertised as their last gig of 2014 in the UK wasn't it?
