Looks like I will be eating tins of beans to survive in a few months time.. I need to go to this

I'm not looking forward to the desperate phone call to home begging for money, but I can't miss this, especially the Manchester date being two days after Radiohead..

I can't see Belfast selling out quick though. The Stone Roses are playing the same date in Belfast so the very generic (and I'm being extremely generic here) "indie" scene would already be split and Belfast isn't exactly a Manchester in terms of music tastes.

Cheers for the tip off, do you think it is too late to sign up?

Emails with the link will be sent out on Wednesday, ready for Thursday. Max two tickets for each unique link.

Looking at tour dates, big gap around Glastonbury time, shame I can't see them playing. Maybe it's a mid tour break, with the youngster being in tow, they fancy just attending.

Ooh, actually, I can see Win Butler turning up to DJ.

Yeah same! Is the regular ticket sale on at the same time as the Cave tickets?

If they're both 9am then yes.

I can't really afford either but gonna break the bank for one. Gonna have to be Arcade Fire - much higher chance of being able to pick up a face value spare for Cave nearer the time.

Yeah definitely, I'm in the position where I don't feel I can take a risk on not getting a Cave ticket on Friday having not seen him before.

Still trying to find someone with an O2 phone to try for priority tickets.. Do they just get a link like this Manc AF one?

Just had a look and it said I had to pay £55 for membership!

Am I looking in the wrong place?

Here's the details for you, from MIF:

Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday at 9am – but we have a limited number of tickets reserved for MIF Members, who can book from 12pm on Thur 16 February, 24 hours in advance. We also have a very limited number of tickets set aside for MIF e-news subscribers, who will be able to book from 12pm on Thursday.

On Wednesday, we'll email an exclusive pre-sale link. Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, with a maximum of two per person.

I'm pretty sure for O2 you have to have an account which is linked to your mobile number
