Stunning gig, I believe it was my favourite of the year, really happy it wasn't just me who rated it so highly. Not many bands who can have such an effect with a set list of a new album in the main.

Great crowd too. I apologise for being one of the few not in fancy dress.

Isn't the Winter Gardens a fab venue, I'm so lucky been 3 times, each gig memorable (White Stripes, Radiohead, Arcade Fire)

Has a disastrous trip back, picked up a puncture on that huge M6 diversion, couldn't get the wheel off, then the motorway lights went off at midnight so couldn't see what I was doing, fog, really unsafe on a slip road, at last home by 2am. Still a great night....

Great venue as well, have been lucky enough to see Jack White and Vampire Weekend there in previous years.

Was made up to see so many people had made the effort to adhere to the dress code as well, imagine the people of Blackpool had no idea what was going on.

Does anyone know who the DJ was before they came on if there was one? Was loving those tunes, it was a killer mix too, really got it going

Ugh they added a 2nd date on Saturday....I wouldn't be bothered if it wasn't at Earls Court (the other side of London to me, so Saturday is better for me really ).

What does anyone reckon on the chances of then doing a few more arenas around that time, can't really afford to make it down to London so hopefully they will do a manchester show. Have heard a few people say they will do a full uk tour in autumn though

I reckon they might do one in Scotland. But yeah I'd expect a tour to come next Autumn.

Yeh that would seem realistic, although I did think it might have been a kind of one off event considering the venue is being demolished soon

Arcade fire tube are reporting that AF are playing Dublin in June. No date though.

Unsure if its actually marlay park though, think it might be phoenix park. Marlay park was where they had longitude this year.

I do know there is a load of gigs planned for Ireland next year though, more than this year.

Well they're playing Marlay Park in Ireland on Sunday 29th June - supported by Pixies. Thats as good as a confirmation for Glastonbury, surely

don't see it myself - Pixies just seem like too much of a perfect Other stage headliner - but how good would that be?

Couldn't see them clashing for some reason, either subbing on the Friday as noted or Other stage headliner on Saturday
