May sound like a stupid question BUT first time at creamfields this year. What they like when it comes to scissors? Or tweezers? Do they class these as "weapons"? Haha and we're heading down like 5pm Saturday, will it still take ages to get in at that time or is there hardly anyone there then?

I haven't been either but I reckon Scissors or tweezers will be classified as weapons, would imagine you could do some damage with them if you were to stab someone with them. As to your second question I'm sorry I can't help as I have never been and will be going Friday at 12pm.

And thanks moyes, I wish we could go earlier but my mate doesn't finish work till late, how would if work saving us abit of grass to pitch our tent on? Can people not be abit fussy about that?

I don't know I was talking to my mate about it and we was thinking about the random things you might need to take wether that would let you is with them, think we was getting abit to excited and just talking rubbish thinking about it now hahaha xx

Reckon the best thing you can do is just tell your friend to pull a sicky, im sure there must be a stomach bug going around somewhere and get down at the crack of dawn on the Saturday. Get more space to choose from and get to see more acts everyone is a winner.

Me and my mate have already started planning our plans to sneak in extra alcohol.

She not able to get an early finish at all or swap shift with someone.

I reckon just making sure all spirits are in a plastic bottle and hide them in stuff like sleeping bag. etc.

Also bought an inflatable mattress and and inflatable sofa ( i like to camp in luxury haha)

We have a 5 man tent and there is 3 of us going, We have space but you would have to put up with single guys haha

My advice is dont take silly things you're not going to need like tweezers. Last year I saw girls with make up cases, battery operated hair straighteners etc just stupid. They will either go missing, break and most probably weigh you down. The walk from the entrance to the campsite is a long walk and through ankle deep sloppy mud. I struggled to carry everything, really considered ditching some stuff like bottles of pepsi and my back muscles were strained and ached all weekend. Take your absolute essentials tent, sleeping bag, alcohol, water (you can

In regards to your arrival time, go as EARLY as possible. We arrived about 2.30pm last year and there was literally nowhere to camp. Luckily we had a small tent and just ended up squeezing between a group of other tents which made it hard to find when going back drunk and in the dark. Like other people have said, ask your mate to throw a sickie! Most people there have been there since Friday and early Saturday morning and the party has been in full swing for a few hours. Saw quite a few paralytic people on the PATH to the campsite. Oh and camp on high ground, no brainer x

Haha, brilliant! You sound just like my mate, Arran. He plays the supervisor role perfectly. While im sweating my nuts of under a tent, looking for missing poles he sits back in his chair with a beer and tells me the tent is not up straight!
