You're only meant to be allowed to use them in the designated areas though, so may be a good idea to camp near to these areas as you don't want to be trailing far from your tent to have a BBQ then realise you've forgot the sauce or something haha

Yes good idea was thinking about how to dispose of it and it will be a danger to passers by and the tents nearby! What are the designated areas like? Benches, chairs, water to cool them down etc?

I've never used them and never really looked out for them before lol.

Too much hassle and extra weight to carry in if you ask me!

Liquid diet + the odd burger from a burger van, and I'm sorted!

Only reason I'm considering taking one is because I'm pretty sure I got food poisoning from the burger van that was at the bottom of Blue camp last near (near the toilets and worst of the floods) so taking no chances and cremating the burgers myself!

I do agree about considering the extra weight though, the walk from the entrance to the campsite was an absolute killer last year!

Yea it's a killer every year.. The campsite should be closer to the car parks and they should stop being arsey and allow people to do more than one trip.. If not for the whole event then at least just the first day!
