Yellow Camp Space

Hi, I usually go red camp and I go late friday evening and camp right at the back where the toilets are cleaner and you are not crammed in like sardines. Is this possible in yellow? I know yellow is slightly smaller, just wondering if it gets completely full to the point you are tripping over guy ropes!

There is 2 fields in Yellow and i have and always will camp in the second one. As you say the toilets are cleaner and its probably closer to the arena (especially for the Friday). You just have to walk a bit further from the car, but they sometimes make that easier by opening up new walkways.

Is it spacious though? I don't want to be crammed in like people are close to the arena entrance.

It's a million times more spacious than the first field and the further to the back you go the more spacious it gets. Put it this way when people turn up late Friday/early Saturday its the only place left for people to camp in - so its the most spacious you are going to get ha.

How can you tell which is the first field and which is the second. I am arriving by Big Green Coach and they say they drop us off near the yellow camps so how can I tell. i think we will be getting to the camp site about 1PM friday

Its the one with space lol. At 1 its possible there would be space in the big field but at the back (where it's closer to the Arena - just a little fairy light walk through the woods). You normally have to walk through it and then cross a tiny dirt road to get in the second field. Or if the big field is full they will get you to walk the tiny dirt road around the big field to get into the second. Just go to the main Yellow campsite entrance and they will tell you.
