I help with the build. For every camper, there's a cost attached. More showers/loos etc there's an inherent cost. We're trying to keep the camp small and create a family vibe- not necessarily kids, but a community. The last two years, everyone has left the camp knowing everyone's names and sad that the wknd is over. We've had people come back to us, which is a nice touch. Hope to see you there. Free pint on arrival if you remember the password "sausages". Don't tell anyone.
I love listening to Kings Of Leon on Spotify bug yeah, I found them boring live, both time I saw them at Sziget. Btw I usually don't go to festivals to see the biggest acts I could, but to enjoy the whole experience. That's why I like Sziget. Otherwise I would choose other festivals with fewer stages and a Better lineup, or Simply go to see the single gig near where I live. Sziget provided a decent experience and a Wide choice among artists and performing arts, It Is usually my back up Plan when I can't attend Glastonbury (like most years ahaha, like everyone). Still, they are removing stages and experiences year After year. I really Hope this year they Will come with something new, otherwise there's Nothing in this festival that Is changing, Just worsening
Was not aware of the history, makes sense given the original vibe - one of my favourite places, but only since 2018. I think this is a different thing now tho given the current owners - more managing costs i would imagine.
