this year's festival phenomonon

I don't think people going to festival to see one band (or even no bands, just to say they've been there) is new, maybe people are just getting ballsier in trying to find out information or maybe finding out the times as early as possible is the new phenomenon. It may point to more day ticket slaes if people are trying to find out the finishing times of headline acts in order to travel home.

Seems odd to call to try and find out the information though.

If I had the spare cash I would probably consider travelling to Reading or Leeds to see Brand New (despite the crappy slot) as they play here relatively infrequently. I'd make the most of sampling some other stuff at the same time though.

seemed like a lot of people turned up on Sunday at Beautiful Days - despite the fact you could only buy a weekend ticket - I do wonder if the weather forecast dictated this - rather than one act on the bill. Although Subgiant were playing yesterday and that may have been the attraction.
