koosmeister
Guys/Girls Me and 3 lads are heading for the full weekend's party. We all have different ideas on footwear. Some say willies, some say trainers, some say walking boots. So, a quick poll, what are you taking!?!? Cheers Mark
SalfordRed94
I was gonna take just trainers originally but with the weather being as shit as its been recently I ordered some wellies before, i'll be wearing them and taking an old pair of trainers as well. 5tevieB
Take trainers. U can buy wellies from the campsite shop if it looks like bad weather.
gordong
Wait and see what the weather is doing first, but I usually take wellies to the festival unless its guaranteed sunshine cause it's pretty shit waiting in the massive queue to buy wellies and they take the piss and charge like £25. If you do take them, wear them on the journey in cause they are heavy and take loads of room in your bag. No matter what the forecast though, don't expect to bring back the shoes you take, cause they will inevitable get wrecked, either from the mud or the dust if its sunny. madferret7
The field before you get in to the site is like freshly churned and always muddy no matter if its beaming sunshine and not rained for a few days. Remeber these are fields on a working farm. Always wear wellies. Image 60,000 people walking along the same patches of ground spilling drinks, it will get muddy in no time even just dry mud. I always wear wellies there and take a pair of trainers/boots in my bag. That way if it doesn't rain and the ground stays fine you haven't disadvantaged yourself (a bit of extra weight but so what) and you don't want to be ripped off £20 for a big standard pair of Dunlop wellies you could have bought at Sports Direct in the first place for £6. Besides you can get very lightweight fashion wellies that you can co ordinate to your outfit

Captain_Buns
Wellies are essential. Preparation is key. Like someone says above, the paths will be well travelled upon & be mud.
