FestivalFriend
can I buy tickets online and collect at the gate or something? looking to set off friday afternoon, don't want to rely on royal mail!
mrtourette
There is a collection point but it won't be on site, it's somewhere in Leeds city centre.I guess as there isn't time to post the ticket when you buy one it'll treat you as an overseas customer and tell you that you have to pick it up from the collection point. If you go to buy one and there isn't an option to collect and it still says they'll be delivered I'd give them a call. mrtourette
Excuse me, mrtourette, but would you know how to get a refund on a ticket? Am trying to sell a Friday day ticket but doesn't look like i'm having much luck, would I be able to get a refund at the site this weekend? thanks for any help! conordcfc
Pretty much no chance I'm afraid, unfortunately you can't just get a refund on a ticket because you don't need it any more. If you took out cancellation protection/insurance at the time of purchase and you meet the criteria (ie you can't attend because you're rushed to hospital or something) you might be able to get a refund from the company you bought the ticket from (ie seetickets or ticketmaster) but the festival itself can't and won't help you. Your only choice may be to drop your price or try and offload it to a tout at the site and take the hit, you'll struggle to get anything near face value for it. shoptildrop
you just collect tickets at box office on site, as I only bought mine yesterday on See and collection instructions are as follows: Ticket can be collected from the on-site collection points located at Red Gate (for those arriving by car) and Yellow Gate (for those arriving by public transport & shuttle buses). mrtourette
I stand corrected, I think I was answering for Reading when I said there was no collection point on site. I didn't realise they had them at Leeds!
