Gucci Piggy
I think now the 'five year rule' is out of the window then Muse are probably fair candidates; less so Foos and Kasabian but who knows? I think The Black Keys or The Vaccines will step up next year. Mumfords probably won't have an album out by next year's fest. Florence - if she does Glastonbury this year then I can see her being in demand everywhere next year; if she doesn't then I think R+L might bump her up. If she doesn't, though, Glastonbury could easily bump her up next year instead.
dentalplan
If she doesn't, though, Glastonbury could easily bump her up next year instead. Yeah, that too. I don't think V or IOW would be interested without someone letting her step up at their festival first. Either way, I think The Black Keys are far and away the front runners if there's only one new headliner in the mix.

Yeah The Black Keys would be my favourites for a headliner next year (as in, I think it will be them, not that I want it to be).
kemosabe
Could Arcade Fire play? or KOL? or if Foals dont play this year could R&l give them the bump up next year??
Gucci Piggy
Could Arcade Fire play? or KOL? or if Foals dont play this year could R&l give them the bump up next year?? Arcade Fire and KOL probably won't be touring their albums then, and it'd be a rubbish booking. Yeah Foals could if they don't play this year and have a new album by then. Spud001
My friend met Muse and they told him they were in talks already for Glasto 2015 Edited March 8, 2014 by Spud001
dentalplan
Foals said Bestival will be their last for a long time and I don't reckon they'll rush out the next album as it's that crucial. Probably nailed on for 2016 but that's really not worth talking about yet.

Gucci Piggy
My friend met Muse and they told him they were in talks already for Glasto 2015 Really? That'd be poor by Glastonbury I reckon. Better than having Coldplay again though.
Gucci Piggy
Actually I forgot about Radiohead for Glastonbury. Radiohead and Muse please and I'm down.
Spud001
Really? That'd be poor by Glastonbury I reckon. Better than having Coldplay again though. Yeah bit predictable but I'd be happy and they're bound to have an album out by then. Then RnL 2016 probably

Spud001
Yeah the Glasto one was really badly mixed too. Citizen Erased was sick though

The Placid Casual
Hahahaha my dad did that! And Reading 2011. The Glasto set was shite though. They played citizen erased though my broadband wasn't quick enough to play it either! It was impossible for me to record 2011, as I was out of the country over a week before it. The amount of times I've seen it after has made up for that though

Gucci Piggy
*frothing at mouth with elation* If I could have three headliners from any time it'd be Led Zeppelin, The Experience and Radiohead, so replacing the dead one with Muse would make a nice enough set of headliners for me. Yellow_Fellow
I don't think Glasto are gonna get Led Zeppelin, but Muse & Radiohead at the same UK fest? That's it, that's the end, it's done
