Yeah The Libertines does seem like a pretty weak headliner; there were tons of tickets for the Ally Pally shows floating about for less than face value

They do, however, appear to be the best option available to R&L

Even if they could manage to get a bigger name it'd only be a pretty stale one like The Killers or Kings of Leon

Bands do this kinda thing all the time, say a gig is sold out when it isn't but I knew his arena tour didn't do that well. Thankyou Mouseboy! Also The Cribs things was just a guess, I just phrased it wrong, they probably just meant the Festival Republic, they wouldn't headline Lock Up in a million years. It'd be an insult to Mike Davies.

Cept again your wrong, I cant vouch for Cardiff covering top sections although id be surprised seen as though they only have one tier of seats on each side, but they didnt do that in Nottingham which is a 10,000 capacity venue, nearly double the size of cardiff.

I did say earlier that I didnt think London was a sell out (along with the Nia) but I thought Id link that article as they put 20K as the number (and Im only arguing with the other guy because he went down the route of "my friend is in the know so what Im saying is definitely true")

Regardless it still shows that Frank Turner is more than big enough for top 3 and It would have to be 3 big acts for him not to be a sub this year.
