It would but I doubt they'll rush the album they've apparently not started yet (except the stuff like Identikit & Ful Stop) to make festival season. I don't think they even wanna bother with other UK festivals to Glastonbury nowadays and they can do that whenever.

Are Metallica as festival-whoreish as The Killers? I've not seen them live myself but I've seen their names billed on festival lineup very often.

Killers probably don't do as many festivals but they also do arena tours and stadiums as well as fests. I think the last three Metallica albums have come in the same year as R+L performances but I don't think that means anything. Download sorta need them too.

Download's lineup this year is so far from anything I'd enjoy. I think they've had a nightmare this year, hopefully they'll pull something better in next year too.

I reckon Guns N' Roses have to be somewhere next year. Maybe Soni seeing as Copping always says he's not getting the current G N' R in.

I've heard a lot of negative feedback from them and not much positive. Obviously that doesn't correlate with poor sales at festivals but speaking from personal point of view, neither me nor anyone I know would go to a festival, or get a day ticket for the current Guns 'N' Roses
