Quite happy with some of the additions, although I'm pretty gutted Gaslight are on the main stage. I've seen them twice on the main stage and felt a little underwhelmed on both occasions, I would love to have seen them playing a higher slot on the nme!

You can get an idea on the Clashfinder though beforehand. If someone would holler when the Clashfinder is done that'd be great. I would edit one but there seems to be a load of people doing the same right now anyway.

Metallica's day is a cracker for me, gonna be a tonne of clashes though, definitely gonna pick up a ticket. As long as days don't sell out surprisingly quickly.

Very happy with that. Friday has a lot more now for me with Drenge, Palma Violets, Parquet Courts and All We Are. Other days are good too, just praying that RTJ don't pull out!

This is what annoys me that they are putting acts that come across so much better in a tent on a huge open field where they could just be lost. If the weather isn't good and it's windy etc their sound will just be lost, the same is going to happen with Marmozets. Only really half interested in Fidlar myself.

How are we assuming these stages go then? It looks currently like FR will run all 3 days for the duration including main/nme headers but that only one day of The Pit/Lockup will run the whole course? I'm unsure how many more acts on those stages are still to be added. Judging by last year, there is still up to 5 cts to be added to the FR stage.

I do agree I'm just inclined to think you'll get a much better show in a smaller space, probably why as well I've tended to not bother with Reading and grab the acts I want to see on their own tours.

Think FIDLAR will nail the main stage, and probably Marmozets and Drenge too going by what I've heard about both of them live.

Pretty much any act is gonna be better on a smaller stage though (bar, say, Daft Punk). They have to put someone on main in the day...

EDIT: There are some acts which shouldn't be put on main full stop, e.g. Crystal Castles, but I don't think Drenge or Marmozets or FIDLAR fall into that category

Probably right, surely The Wombats aren't going to finish early leaving nothing but a metal band, a dance act and whatever Azealia Banks is left?

Edit: Judging by previous times, Ash and Catfish will overlap a fair bit and not Twin Atlantic as FR still finishes 30 mins even on the longest day anyway. I had a feeling I would have a situation of not being able to see one band this year no matter what I did. Why stick bloody Lucy Rose in there!

How are Gaslight only 6th?, they went up to Ally Pally touring last time.
