Yeah they're not sticking around or else they would have last time. Band tensions mean tehy won't be in for the long haul. Another one off would be a bit costly to say they've already paid for the same show before.

You speak as if they had a valid reason for re booking blink

If The Libs release a new album then they will headline R&L. They're saying they want to have some new music in time for Hyde Park, a new album can't be completely out of the question. Although I do agree that they aren't in it for the long haul, a new album and an actual 'farewell' tour would be nice.

Not really the same thing. Blink did actually have an album and an EP between 2010 and now, and they were expecting a new album out this year I think.

It is out of the question really. They're not on best terms and are all doing projects they enjoy more, so them meeting up for a few weeks and doing a gig or two is really nothing compared to spending the best part of a year together doing the album and then touring it. I agree it'd be nice but it's clear they don't want to carry on the band.

They're not going to make a new album

I know it was Pete that said those things but I'm not so sure they'll do a new album. They could do an EP for Hyde Park though. New material doesn't mean a new album

Nah Libs will do a few one off shows every few years I reckon but they'll never be a reformed band again.

R&L 2015: The Black Keys, The Prodigy, Muse?

V 2015: Jay-Z, Arctic Monkeys

T in the Park 2015: Coldplay, Kasabian, Lady Gaga

Glastonbury 2015: Radiohead, Led Zepellin, Florence and the Machine
