Fascinating.

I listened to the WATO album stream 'cos of the lead single and some good reviews but it hasn't really turned my head much despite the promise of the lead single. It's certainly something that should go down really well with R+L people though; there are shades of Muse and Royal Blood and ting and there's also an acoustic song that's equally as bad as Frank Turner's stuff so yeah cool brilliant.

Might listen but they were absolutely bollocks at Leeds in 2011.

Edit: Who am I kidding? Of course I won't listen.

R&L helpfully tweeted "No set times released yet. Website billing isn't the order of set times". :/

I hope it means that it's pretty much in order so far i.e. Modestep -> Pierce The Veil -> Alexisonfire but some acts above or below another may have a shorter / longer set despite their placement?

Babymetal were definitely announced as opening the main stage

I can't find it anywhere, BUT SOMEONE DEFINITELY SAID IT

It was Kerrang - http://www.kerrang.com/30483/babymetal-announced-reading-leeds-2015/

"Kerrang! can exclusively reveal that the Japanese metal sensation will be opening the Main Stage on the Metallica day of both festivals"

What is the point of putting them in random order then?

But they'll release times beforehand, won't they?

They start on the Monday before the festival and release one stage per a day as I remember on Wednesday trying to find someone who was selling guides to get the times for The Lock Up as they weren't out yet and I needed to know if The Wonder Years were going to clash with ADTR

That might have been because they saw the poster, which has Babymetal at the bottom, and just assumed they were opening.

Yeah.

The Story So Far have to slot in

New album leaked btw and it is class

I finally gotten around to listening to it today and I've got to say it is their weakest album yet, still liked it though and it has got some killer tracks but I was still left feeling a bit disappointed with it which is unfortunate as it was one of my most anticipated albums is this year. Hopefully it'll grow on me though.

girlfriend got me a ticket for the Leeds Sunday for my birthday so that's nice, although looking at the lineup and it seems a lot of the acts i'd be interested in will be on at around the same time (Alexisonfire, Wolf Alice, Atreyu, Charlie XCX/Tourist and then Metallica, Mastodon, Azealia Banks). ah well. would usually do a lot of running between stages but considering it's just me and her i'm sure i'll just end up stood at the main stage after Alexisonfire. Royal Blood *shudders*

Mastodon ain't clashing with Metallica, so presumably The Pit closes early and you can watch them whilst BMTH are on.
