Lineup 2015

Recommended Posts

Still think Gaslight should have been placed in between Alexisonfire and Royal Blood, and then Modestep slotted in between The Cribs and Against Me!, would have made more sense that way.

Still probably the best line-up since about 2011 though.

I tweeted once saying that Rat Boy 'is a poor man's Jamie T' and he replied to the tweet.

The thing is I didn't tag him in it or anything, so the conclusion I came to is that he searched his own name.

I don't like Rat Boy.

I did that with Bearfoot Beware when they were announced for R&L, saying they're BearFur wannabes, and they replied asking what the fuck that was.

In all fairness I can't name 1 band who aren't BearFur wannabes.

I was just looking at the lineup again to think how awesome that day would have been if RTJ were still where Spector are on the NME bill and spotted that the order on the Leeds site has changed a little to have Slaves before Twin Peaks. Definitely didn't used to be like that so I wonder if it's intentional and not a mistake, though I've no idea why that switch would happen. If FIDLAR fans cry as easily as they say they do then a Slaves clash would cause floods.

FIDLAR are going to clash with Nothing But Thieves anyway; there should still be someone to slot in before them.

Don Broco have just been announced. Between Swim Deep and American Football.

Was not expecting that, seems odd that they've taken a slot lower than the one they've had the previous two years.

Especially as the tent was as rammed as it was for Royal Blood for them last year. Full of complete knobs mind you.

I only caught the last couple of songs for Don Broco last year and it was from the very back; it did seem surprisingly busy.
