JSmurphy
They were effing awesome at Glasto, was sceptical about the new line up, the new guitarist isn't as good but the rest of the line up were on point. They were epic at Reading a couple of years ago, manic 1/3 into the NME tent. I was right at the barrier too, loads of smallish mosh pits but Glasto is a lot more laid back. Jeez I remember their set at Reading two years ago, ribs were broken
dentalplan
Just noticed that Huw Stephens has R+L news on his show tomorrow, probably a BBC Introducing announcement Nowt happen with this?
footix2
It's due any time. Seems to arrive anywhere between 23 July and 1 August
dentalplan
Did he say that on the show? Edited July 22, 2015 by dentalplan
thewayiam
Not sure if people know but Frank T has said in an interview apparently, Refused, when asked who he's looking forward to the most at R&L? But said e can't see them as he's clashing so does FR cover most of Lockup that day? Mates a massive fan of Frank so.

lightning1000
Frank Turner has said in an interview that he wants to see refused but he can't as he's playing at the same time as them. Therefore it appears that the running times for those stages are the same on that day, unlike the metallica day. My friend likes Frank but I want to see refused so I hope this isn't the case. *translated from gazza to English.

lightning1000
You forgot to translate mate to cousin. Yeah my gazza is a bit rusty. I mainly only know how to ask for directions to the swimming pool or library.
Gucci Piggy
So either FR and Pit both finish early, or Frank clashes with The Libs.
foolee
I would be so happy if the pit finished early so I could see Refused and The Libertines. Got nothing to see while Kendrick Lamar is playing at the minute. Probably more likely they'll both clash with The Libertines though to split the crowds and so Frank doesn't have a ridiculously overflowing FR tent

Chavmeisterdeluxe
New BMTH song is a banger. Probably not if you like their early shite though. Edited July 23, 2015 by Chavmeisterdeluxe
foolee
Considering Drown, Happy Song and this new one they're definitely going a little bit softer/mainstream, even more so than Sempiternal. I don't think they're 'selling out', I just think it's natural progression, each album has had it from them.
DarthSaul
How much does the new bmth song sound like linkin park though
FloorFiller
How much does the new bmth song sound like linkin park though it sounds almost identical to Faint. fucking hell. Happy Song is actually really catchy (was a big grower), but this new one is unforgivably shite
Andre91
Can't say I'm a fan of the new BMTH song. I love Happy Song, think it's an absolute belter, but Throne is just too different for me at the moment. Sounds a lot like Linkin Park/30 Seconds To Mars. I think it'll sound decent enough live though. Their tour over here is supposedly going to be 2016 btw, so my guess would be January. Matt42
Props to them though for being a fairly unpredictable band. Each time I first heard the new material of each album i've been surprised / shocked at it not being what I expected.
dentalplan
Unless something has changed (which is quite possible) then they're playing German shows in November so it's likely they'll be playing British shows around then as well. Rose-Colored Boy
Unless mau5trap's 'special guests' are big that's a fair bit smaller than Zane Lowe and DJ Fresh last year, probably a reflection of ticket sales.

I'd say you're overthinking that a little bit. What makes you say they're playing German shows in November? Some leaked dates from a German booking agency site a few months back before we knew they were coming back so soon or anything.
