55 mins for BMTH sucks. I expected them to get 70. Kendrick gets 70 mins though, so that's cool.

According to the Reading site it's an hour

Alt J have an hour too - I expect it's because the headliners on those days have longer. Though mumfords having 2hrs seems too long

It says they have an hour for me...

Leeds sets tend to get 5 mins less now as they both now start at 12 but Reading stops music at 23:30 while Leeds is at 23:00. I think before last year it was that Reading started half an hour later.

On this weeks Kerrang cover it mentions stage times. So it looks like we will be able to get them cheaper this year then those programs they sell at ridiculous prices

Probably because Mumford wanted to play for 2 hours and Arctic Monkeys didn't because they never do, even at their own shows.

Go and see Run The Jewels. Saw Alt-J at Manchester last year it was a bit boring at parts but that could be due half of the set being songs off the new album which wasn't even out yet

I thought 2.5 hours was a legends slot? The only artist in memory getting that was Foos in 2012 but still

Yeah but I saw Run The Jewels at Glastonbury, and I'm seeing them at the Warehouse Project in October too, so I'm gonna go for Alt-J. Missed them at Glasto and Latitude on the basis I could see them at Reading, haven't seen the stuff off This Is All Yours live yet. They're not really gonna be in the dark now though .

 

And yeah I guess that makes sense on Mumfords. Funny that they put a third album out so they finally had enough material to comfortably fill a headline slot, and then they went and opted for more time so they're back to barely having enough material again.

Used to be only one headliner got 2 hours, up until 2012. Ever since they gave The Cure and Foos 2.5 hours+ that year I guess they've just let the band choose how long (at least 90 mins obvs).

Fair enough then. I'll be at RTJ as I haven't seen them yet but I'd like to be able to see a bit of Alt-J though.
