Saw them in Sheffield on their latest tour and I have to say they were a completely different band compared to how they performed in 09, they absolutely killed it.

As a solution to that interview where Alex said they don't enjoy playing the older songs and that they don't sound as good now, why don't they play the older songs that would sound alright being played by them now. Riot Van, and Only Ones Who Know would fit well with their sound now.

I just can't imagine Arctic Monkeys being one of those bands that drop a load of their biggest hits and crowd pleasers for stuff that they enjoy playing. They don't have Billy Corgan's bitter hatred for the world... yet.

The Arctic Monkeys only have one album that deserves to be played in full, their debut and apparently Alex doesn't like playing that anymore.
